2024 P1 Registration: Phase 1

Phase 1 of the 2024 P1 Registration is over.

The table below shows what has happened in past 2 years (2023 to 2024) of Phase 1. We map the number of seats taken up in both year, and in the column “2024-2023”, we show the difference between the 2 years. We have highlighted the schools with a positive difference in the 2 years, meaning that there are more students taking up seats in the schools this year, which means there will be less places for registration in the later Phases of this year’s Exercise.

Given that there is an overall reduction of 430 seats this year, there are a number of schools which are in the “red”. Amongst these is Angsana Primary with 29 extra seats taken up already. Of the schools which actually have less people registering this year, Tan Nan has the least with 64 less people registering. This is pretty good news for the people vying for the school in the upcoming stages, although it is likely that Tao Nan will still face stiff competition in Phase 2C.
