2017年“新空下”第三届全国学生新谣歌唱及创作比赛正式拉开序幕。比赛向全国中学生与初级学院、高级中学、理工学院和工艺教育学院就读生开放。一本全新的新谣音乐分享会歌本将结合比赛，首次亮相。一系列的新谣音乐分享会也将在本地20所学校内举办。
2. 新出版的新谣音乐分享会歌本收录了15首本地新谣创作，除了附上吉他和弦，歌本中也编入了与新谣歌曲有关的文字和互动游戏，还有本地著名绘本插画家阿果的插画。歌本将免费分发给参与新谣音乐分享会的学生。音乐分享会上还将介绍新谣的发展历程，并结合多媒体呈现新谣歌曲中所描绘的新加坡生活面貌，借此激发学生学习华文华语的兴趣。
3. 比赛已步入第三年，而参赛者能选择参加三种不同组别：独唱组、合作组、创作组。2017年“新空下”第三届全国学生新谣歌唱及创作比赛今年由推广华文学习委员会主办，联合早报、裕廊初级学院和本地音乐制作公司，弹唱人制作室联办。请参阅Annex以了解比赛的活动日期。
